Ba Na Hills

A mountain resort with the Golden Bridge, cable car and French Village theme park — Da Nang's signature photo spot.

Ba Na Hills is a theme park built on a mountain at an altitude of about 1,400 meters, featuring a French-style village. It is an essential day trip from Da Nang. Located about 40–50 minutes by car from the city center, the journey begins as you ascend above the clouds via a cable car that holds a world record for length. The mountain top is 5–10 degrees cooler than the city, making it pleasant even in the height of summer.

Golden Bridge and French Village

The signature attraction is the Golden Bridge, a walkway approximately 150 meters long, held up by two giant hands. Since its opening in 2018, it has become Vietnam’s most iconic photo spot, so it is best to visit early in the morning to avoid crowds. Next, explore the French Village, which recreates medieval Europe with its square, cathedral, and streets. Other highlights include Fantasy Park, filled with indoor and outdoor rides; Le Jardin d’Amour, a garden where flowers bloom year-round; the mountain-top Buddha statue and Linh Ung Pagoda; and the French-era Debay Wine Cellar. The day feels short given the abundance of attractions. For thrill-seekers, the Alpine Coaster, which slides down the mountainside (additional fee), is highly recommended.

Tickets and Practical Tips

The entrance ticket includes round-trip cable car rides and access to most indoor attractions such as the Golden Bridge, French Village, and Fantasy Park. As of 2026, the price is approximately 1,000,000 VND for adults and 800,000 VND for children (prices vary annually, so please check when booking). Since fog and rain are common on the mountain and the breeze can be chilly, bring a light jacket, comfortable shoes, and an umbrella or raincoat. To avoid crowds, consider a route that starts with the Golden Bridge in the morning and moves to indoor facilities in the afternoon. Given the many sights, we recommend allocating at least half a day to a full day.
