Nha Trang is one of the few base camps in Vietnam where you can visit three distinct natural landscapes— islands, waterfalls, and deserts—as day trips from a single city. Offshore lie coral reefs, monkeys, and Hòn Rơm Island; to the west inland are the Yang Bay Waterfall and jungle; and just two hours south is the Phan Rang/Mui Ne-style desert, ensuring a completely different scenery every day.
The itinerary is arranged to move through terrains in the order of Sea → Jungle → Desert. On arrival day, enjoy free nature walks at the beach park and Hon Chong Peninsula. Day two is dedicated to island hopping, day three to the Yang Bay Waterfall for jungle and ethnic minority culture, and the final day concludes with a sunrise at the Phan Rang Desert. The desert trip is scheduled for early morning to minimize travel time during the heat of the day.
