The courses — one club, two distinct 18s
Opened in 1994, VGCC is the birthplace of Vietnamese golf, set across 300 hectares of mature parkland and woodland with two championship courses. It lies in Thu Duc City (former District 9), about 20 km / 40–45 minutes east of HCMC District 1.
R1 · East Course (Lee Trevino, 1997)
The championship layout from six-time major champion Lee Trevino. Generous fairways are cleverly guarded by some 110 bunkers and water hazards, while large undulating Bermuda greens keep the challenge honest. A par-72 of around 6,950 yards — the very stage of the Vietnam Open.
R2 · West Course (Chen King Shih, 1994)
The original 18 that opened the club. Tight, tree-lined fairways and fast Bermuda greens demand precise tee shots and careful course management — a classic parkland whose par-72 layout contrasts sharply with the East.
