North (Bãi Dài)

The northern part of Phu Quoc is a region where the island's most vibrant tourism complex coexists with untouched, pristine beaches. The Phu Quoc United Center, developed in the Bai Dai and Ganh Dau areas, hosts large-scale theme facilities by Vingroup, allowing you to fill your entire day with entertainment without needing to travel far.

VinWonders is Vietnam's largest theme park, featuring roller coasters, a water park, and an aquarium all in one place. Right next to it, Grand World is a free pedestrian zone that becomes even more beautiful at night, offering Venetian-style canals, water puppet shows, and the nighttime multimedia show 'Dinh Hoa Vietnam (The Essence of Vietnam)'. Vinpearl Safari is Vietnam's first open-range safari, where you can see lions, giraffes, and rhinos up close aboard a shuttle bus.

Step outside the complex, and nature takes center stage. The 15-kilometer Bai Dai Beach is a sunset hotspot due to its westward orientation, while the island's northernmost tip, Ganh Dau Cape, offers views of the sea towards Cambodia. The northeastern Lot Bee (Starfish) Beach is famous for its shallow, clear waters carpeted with orange starfish, making it a popular spot for memorable photos.

Recommended Itinerary

Visit Vinpearl Safari in the morning, then enjoy afternoon water activities at VinWonders after lunch. As the sun sets, head to Grand World to conclude your day with the night show and a canal stroll, completing your day without further travel. If you prefer nature, we recommend visiting Lot Bee Starfish Beach in the morning and catching the sunset at Bai Dai in the afternoon.

Practical Tips

• Location & Transport: 40 minutes to 1 hour by car from the airport. Public transport is limited, so Grab, taxis, or private cars are more convenient. Inside the complex, free shuttles and monorails are available.
• Tickets: Combined tickets for VinWonders, Safari, and Grand World are cheaper than individual purchases, with additional discounts for online advance bookings.
• Timing: Outdoor rides are most pleasant in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat. Grand World shows are concentrated in the evening.
• Currency: Vietnamese Dong (VND) is used; 1,000 VND ≈ 1.4 Baht. Card payments are widely accepted within the complex.
