The boat leaves Bach Dang pier and the bridges pass one by one — green, then violet, then gold, each one doubled in the water. While that happens, a Vietnamese dinner arrives at your table.
As the dessert plates clear, the engine drops and the boat settles directly in front of the Dragon Bridge. Watching it over shoulders from the pavement is one thing; taking it head-on from the middle of the river is another. At nine exactly, fire climbs out of the dragon's mouth, and water follows.
There is room to lift a phone. Step onto the deck and nobody is standing in your frame.
The show runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only — which is why this trip sails on those three days and no others. If you want one night in Da Nang to be the one you remember, keep one of them free.
