How It Works
To ensure rapid registration and processing in an emergency, the service proceeds as follows:
- Emergency Booking & Registration: After applying for the service, you will receive booking confirmation (takes approx. 1 day) and confirmation guidance.
- Hotel Pickup & Meeting: At the designated time, a professional interpreting guide will pick you up at your hotel.
- Police Station Visit & Report: Move to the local Phu Quoc police station (Công an) to complete the loss report and receive the official stamp and signature.
- Certificate Issuance & Guidance: Based on the issued police report, we will conduct a final check of the required documents (passport copy, 2 photos, flight tickets, etc.) and provide the route to the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City for emergency passport application.
- Service Completion: The service ends after all administrative support is complete, returning you to the hotel or concluding with guidance for travel to Ho Chi Minh City.
Requirements & Safety
- Eligibility: All travelers who have lost their passports in Phu Quoc and require administrative support.
- Administrative Processing Time: Service requests are available 24 hours a day, but actual police station operations are only available during weekday business hours (08:00 ~ 17:00).
- Weekends/Holidays: If a loss occurs at night or on a weekend, the request is processed immediately, but document issuance must wait until the next business day.
- Accompanying Guide: A professional interpreting guide well-versed in local conditions will accompany you throughout the process to ensure safety.
What to Bring & Dress Code
- Passport Copy: A photocopy or digital photo of your passport, essential for reporting the loss and applying for re-issuance.
- Passport Photos: 2 passport-sized photos for emergency passport issuance (to be submitted to the consulate in Ho Chi Minh City).
- Flight Details: Flight reservation confirmation for your return or next destination.
- Personal Expenses: Cash or card to pay for police station fees and consulate re-issuance fees.
Important Notice
- Consulate Location: As there is no Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Phu Quoc, you must visit the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to issue an emergency passport.
- Additional Costs: Round-trip flights between Phu Quoc and Ho Chi Minh City, transportation within Ho Chi Minh City, consulate fees, and actual expenses at the local police station are not included and are the responsibility of the customer.
- Booking Confirmation: This product can be confirmed immediately, but it may take up to 1 day for final confirmation to coordinate details.
